Amanresorts Heads to Greece’s Peloponnese

Amanzoe resortAman junkies will soon have another luxury property to drool over. Amanresorts has announced the summer debut of a boutique resort—containing just 38 suites—located near Porto Heli on Greece's Peloponnese peninsula. Taking its name from the Sanskrit-derived word for "peace" and "zoe," the Greek word for "life," Amanzoe is the 25th property for the Singapore-based luxury hotel group, and its 3rd Mediterranean hideaway (after Montenegro's Aman Sveti Stefan and Turkey's Amanruya). Acclaimed architect Ed Tuttle is behind the design: 38 pavilions centered around a reflection pool overlooking the Aegean Sea. The region is abundant with ancient archeological sites, and guests will also be able to explore the surrounding islands by boat, sample local wine at the vineyards, and relax at Amanzoe’s stylish spa.
