HBA Design Firm Unveils ESPA Spa Design at Istanbul EDITION

ESPA spa, courtesy of EDITION HotelsHirsch Bedner Associates will debut the ESPA spa next month when luxury brand EDITION makes its debut this spring.

Located in the Levent neighborhood, Istanbul EDITION's 20,000-square-foot spa will have an indoor swimming pool, VIP suite, oversized bathtub, steam showers and relaxation bed hanging from the ceiling.

Incorporating its Hammam roots with contemporary touches, the spa's layout will feature embossed bronze floors, chocolate brown marble, cast bronze sinks, naturally imbedded crystal walls and lighting inspired by the cut-out patterns found in a traditional Hammam.

Dark materials throughout the space include metallic woods, embossed bronze floors, and walls upholstered in horsehair, while mirrored silver glass tiles cover the pool and reflect the gold wall above.

In the VIP suite, the floors are adorned in patterned leather floors, and the walls are smoked onyx. In the treatment rooms, the lutron system's different light levels are customized to the treatment stages, including a welcoming level for arrival, a very low level for treatment, another level for showering and a level for relaxation.

We hear that  the 30-minute Regenerating & Firming Eye Treatment, the Skin Radiance Facial and the three-hour Couples Signature Experience is especially soothing. Be sure to check out the spa packages too: the two-hour Sculpt, the two-and-a-half-hour Just for Friends, as well as the one-hour Business Lunch.
