Horst Frehse, the executive director of The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town, South Africa, has announced his retirement.
Frehse has spent 45 years in the hospitality industry, beginning his career at the Hotel School Bad Reichenhall in Bavaria, Germany.
"He has been instrumental in The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa’s success over the past five years, thanks to his phenomenal industry connections, his devotion, vivacious nature, and the compassionate heart that he generously shared with his staff, clients and guests from around the world – all of whom will miss him dearly," Michael Nel, general manager of The Twelve Apostles, said in a letter announcing Frehse's retirement.
Freshe will complete his handover at the end of this month. Nel and Deputy GM/F&B Manager will lead the hotel.
