The 7Pines hotel brand opened its first resort on the party-loving Mediterranean isle of Ibiza in May 2018. With a killer clifftop location overlooking the mythical Es Vedrà rock, the purpose-built resort sought to showcase the unique culture and character of the island in its style, design, and ambiance. The 185 guest suites are housed in whitewashed, Ibiza-style casitas and facilities run the gamut from spa and pools to fine dining restaurants and event space. There are also three Pershing yachts available for guest charter. 7Pines is an experience-driven hospitality company, with a focus on customer service and a relaxed interpretation of luxury, and additional hotels are in the pipeline in Sardinia and New York.
As the Ibiza property preps to reopen for its third season, it will usher in a new chapter in collaboration with Kempinski. 7Pines’ owner company, 12.18, and Kempinski announced the creation of a new lifestyle concept in October 2019. The idea is to create a strategic brand alliance between 7Pines Hotels & Resorts and Kempinski, Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group. Guests will be able to get a taste of the new hotel experience when the resort opens some of its facilities for early spring arrivals on March 13. Cone Club will serve lunch from Friday to Sunday, along with Sunset Rituals, a popular event starring tapas, cocktails and a DJ spinning the soundtrack at sunset. Pure Seven spa will open from Wednesday to Sunday and offer yoga sessions, wellness activities and a range of spa treatments.
