Secrets Aura Cozumel and Secrets The Vine Cancun
As of December 15, the swanky, adults-only Secrets Aura Cozumel was brought up to Secrets Resorts & Spas’ brand standards. The resort has 168 luxury rooms and suites, each with a balcony or terrace with Caribbean Sea and pool views.
VIPs have access to limitless à la carte dining at four restaurants; 24-hour room and concierge services; daytime activities; live evening entertainment and more. The resort also features three main swimming pools, newly revamped full spa, fitness center and suites with a private pool.
Additionally, a four-poster canopy king-size bed (or two double beds), private terrace or balcony and full marble bathroom with Jacuzzi adds a touch of elegance to rooms and suites at the Secrets Aura Cozumel—the super product of two existing resorts: Sabor Cozumel Exclusive Resort and Spa and Aura Cozumel Grand. Also added were the brand’s signature Bordeaux, Oceana and Windows eateries.

The best rooms at the Secrets Aura Cozumel are the Preferred Club Suites. The swankiest of these, however, is the Preferred Club Ocean View Private Pool & Solarium Suite. As the name indicates, the highlighting features of this room are the private, furnished rooftop solarium and the private lap pool. Note: Preferred Club members enjoy an upgraded suite, access to an exclusive lounge, special concierge service and other enhanced amenities.

The resort has a large Secrets Spa by Pevonia listing dozens of pampering choices. All Secrets VIPs have access to the signature Unlimited-Luxury service, which offers unlimited gourmet à la carte dining, 24-hour room and concierge services, and daytime activities. Note: Advisors are encouraged to book treatments at all Secrets properties roughly three weeks in advance.

The Secrets Wedding in Paradise, Secrets of Love and Secrets Ultimate Wedding Packages and the Secrets Eternity Honeymoon Package are all available to guests getting married at Secrets Aura Cozumel. For golf lovers, the Cozumel Country Club is an 18-hole, 72 par professional and ecological golf course designed by pro golfer Jack Nicklaus and located approximately 12 miles from the resort (30 minutes). Additional fees apply.

For shopping enthusiasts, the San Miguel downtown area of Cozumel is one of the most popular sites on the island. Located nine miles from the resort, the town is perfect for sightseeing and indulging in great shopping and local cuisine.

The best room at the Secrets The Vine Cancun is the Preferred Club Master Suite Ocean Front. This nearly 3,000-square-foot haven includes two Italian porcelain bathrooms and a chic, furnished terrace.
VIPs at Secrets The Vine Cancun can also enjoy golf at nearby Playa Mujeres Golf Course, a Greg Norman signature 18-hole course featuring strategically placed holes to offer exceptional ocean and tropical views.
Nice Touch: VIPs can get married on the beautiful terrace on the 12th floor with ocean and lagoon views available for rehearsal dinners or welcome cocktails. The resort can also organize wine tastings for the wedding.

The New Key West Luxury Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos
The always-popular Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, considered by many advisors as the best luxury, family all-inclusive in the Caribbean, just got a little better.
The resort, in late May, debuted its new Key West Luxury Village offering more than 150 rooms, suites and villas, three additional gourmet restaurants, private pools and more.
Note: It is now the fourth neighborhood added to the resort; currently, Beaches Turks & Caicos is comprised of the Caribbean Village, French Village and Italian Village.

The brand new accommodations in the Key West Luxury Village include eight exclusive villas with three and four bedrooms set along the beach with private pools, and large enough to feel like a private home. Aside from the new Key West Luxury Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, Sandals Resorts International is also spicing up its couples resort offerings with the acquisition of LaSource, a popular luxury resort in Grenada.
On Our Radar: Sandals LaSource Grenada
Although it’s not scheduled to open until December 12, Luxury Travel Advisor was able to get all the information you need to prepare for a Sandals LaSource Grenada rush.
The best rooms at the resort will be the Skypool Suites, Millionaire Suites and Rondoval Suites. For the best views, however, VIPs should look no further than the oceanview Skypool Suites, which give outstanding views of the Caribbean Sea and come with large balconies, lounge chairs, dining tables and soaking tubs. Note: Private butler service is available in 75 of the Butler Suites, which are found among the Millionaire Suites, Rondoval and Skypool Suites.
Sandals LaSource Grenada is located only minutes away from Maurice Bishop International Airport. Nice Touch: VIP’s receive chauffeur driven Rolls Royce and Mercedes 500 series airport transportation. VIP transportation also comes with snacks, beverages and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The resort’s Red Lane Spa will have seven treatment rooms and two couples’ sanctuaries. Like Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, there is also an option here to purchase the “Bridal Bliss Spa Package.”
VIPs will have a choice of nine global, gourmet dining options, including the island’s first top-tier steakhouse called Butch’s Chophouse, named after the resort company’s founder and chairman.
Sandals LaSource Grenada will have dining options such as Soy, a sushi bar; Café De Paris, a French café; Spices, serving Caribbean cuisine; Le’Jardinier, a French restaurant; and Neptune’s, a Mediterranean beach bar, as well as Kimono’s, a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant; CucinaRomana for Italian fare; and Dino’s Pizzeria.
