Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has announced the launch of its first property in Spain, the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort. Situated on Spain’s southern coast, Anantara Villa Padierna Palace offers 132 guestrooms, suites and pool villas all set amongst stylish gardens and three golf courses.

Designed by British architect, Ed Gilbert, Anantara Villa Padierna Palace has nine one- and two-bedroom villas, each designed for guests seeking added privacy, with butler service and private pools. A garden swimming pool, surrounded by cypress and palm trees, is the centerpiece of the grounds. All the villas offer private terraces, overlooking the golf courses and sea views. On a clear day, the mountains of Morocco can be spotted on the horizon. Anantara Villa Padierna Palace also displays over 1,200 original artworks throughout the grounds and gardens.

Spain’s 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant has opened an outlet at the hotel and Michelin-star chef Paco Roncero will be launching his new concept restaurant, O by Paco Roncero, later this month. Diego Cabrera, one of the World’s 50 Best Mixologists, will also be adding some flare to Eddy’s Bar at the hotel. Guests can also enjoy the beach at Club de Mar Beach Club, with its Champagne and oyster bar, as well as Anantara’s Dining by Design offering in canopied private courtyards or starlit Roman amphitheater.
