Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort Gets a New GM

Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Ramsey Saarany as general manager at Anantara Mina al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort.

Saarany, who holds degrees from the University of Surrey, City University London and Cornell University in New York, brings two decades of experience in the luxury hospitality sector. In his new role with Anantara, Saarany will lead and oversee all strategies and operations for the soon-to-open Ras Al Khaimah resort within the destination’s Mina Al Arab luxury development.

His career began as a management trainee for the Jumeirah Group in 2004, where he quickly advanced from an introductory role as guest services manager to becoming the rooms division manager at Mina A’ Salam Hotel within six years. At Sofitel Dubai Downtown, Saarany ascended to the position of executive assistant manager before achieving his first role as hotel manager at Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa in 2019. Since January 2022, Saarany has been driving success as the general manager at Alwadi Hotel Doha - MGallery, in Qatar.

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is slated to open in Q4 2023 on the shore of the Arabian Gulf. The eco-friendly resort will have 174 guestrooms, suites and overwater villas alongside specialty dining experiences, and spa and wellness facilities.
