Avani Hotels & Resorts Makes its Debut in New Zealand

Avani Hotels & Resorts has made its first foray into New Zealand, with the Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences opening its doors recently. Avani took over the 39-story tower, which originally functioned as the Magistrates Court of Auckland, five months ago; it has since seen 65 of its luxury tower suites undergo a multimillion-dollar refurbishment.

The new-look property offers upscale residence available in one- and two-bedroom configurations, some with a private balcony with views across Albert Park, Auckland Harbour, or Princes Wharf. Residences will have spacious lounges and dining areas, well-equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, grocery delivery services and a selection of high-tech comforts.

Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences also has a 72-foot heated indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and state of the art fitness center.

Guests will also have access to Avani's signature "Forget Me Not" amenities, a service designed to take the stress out of leaving any essentials behind. Families can make use of the hotel’s complimentary kid-friendly facilities, including a welcome pack – complete with a coloring book and pencils – and dedicated kids' channels.

Located on Kitchener Street, Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences is close to many of Auckland’s top attractions and experiences, including the soaring Sky Tower, Vector Arena, waterfront precinct and Auckland Art Gallery, as well as the city’s dining, nightlife and entertainment hubs.

To celebrate its opening, Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences has released a collection of curated accommodation packages for stays until December 20. Starting from $151 per night (minimum two-night stay), travelers will enjoy 15 percent off regular rates, a local bottle of New Zealand wine and a complimentary midday late checkout.
