The all-suite Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is fresh off a $10 million renovation that included a redesigned lobby, a Rat Pack era-inspired lounge, an ocean-view restaurant with a private dining room, an enhanced outdoor terrace dining and event space and more.
Aesthetically, the hotel introduced plenty of blues to incorporate the beach vibe throughout. Insider Note: Built in 1958, the Carillon is among the closest to the water in Miami Beach as it was grandfathered after new zoning laws were enacted.
Nice Touch: The four pools include one for adults only. At the spa, guests will have access to 24 brand-new treatment rooms. The hotel’s wellness programming includes over 300 weekly classes and an onsite doctor who specializes in anti-aging medicine. A popular treatment is the nine-circuit thermal experience where guests move from cold and heated thermal suites to help stimulate circulation, relieve pain, decrease stress and rejuvenate the body.
At Carillon Miami, a “One-bedroom Sea Grape View room (above) and a “One bedroom Suite Kitchen (here), have a soft pastel color vibe and sweeping views of Miami Beach.
Good to know: The hotel’s motto is “Wellness your way,” meaning you can sign up for an intense, detoxifying series of treatments, or hit the gym at your pace while still being able to enjoy a drink and a burger when you want. Yes, please.
Carillon Miami’s new signature restaurant, The Strand Bar & Grill, looks
out onto the ocean, and has farm-fresh South Florida fare. The “wellness-first” menu is diverse, with offerings such as fish, house-made pastas, heirloom grains and antibiotic-free meats.
