The new “In Your Shoes” experience will have vacationers shadowing the routines, over-the-top treatment and other special requests that these guests of note have enjoyed.
The resorts famous guest list has included Jay-Z and Beyoncé, the Kardashians, Derek Jeter, Drake, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Eric Decker, Oscar de la Renta, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jordan, Mark Anthony, former U.S. Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, The Bachelorette and Jim Clark.
Priced starting from $350,000, the villa stay comes with a custom chest of designer shoes to ensure guests are both literally and figuratively following in the footsteps of the A-list crowd. While the footwear selection will be customized prior to arrival based on preferences, sizing and gender, think CHANEL sandals, Louboutin wedges and Gianvito Rossi alligator pumps. "In Your Shoes" includes:
- Roundtrip helicopter transfers from any of the three nearby airports directly to the resort’s on-property helipad with SUV transfers to their villa
- Seven nights in a villa
- Custom resort shoe collection
- Dedicated staff that includes a maid, butler, personal chef and driver
- Private yacht daytrip to Catalina Island with champagne lunch on the beach
- Unlimited rounds on the resort’s No. 1-rated golf course, Teeth of the Dog, with preferred tee-times
- Daily spa treatments—in-villa or at the spa
- Privately guided horseback riding tour
- Breakfast made to order daily in the villa
A list of celebrity-inspired requests to consider asking for include an organic smoothie bar, hand-selected floral arrangements, themed accommodations (casino room anyone?), Dominican specialties (mangu, rice and bean are popular requests), special color palettes (i.e.: all white; black towels only), scented candles, specific liquors, halogen floor lamps and more.
Other options include: A private backstage tour of the Amphitheatre at Altos de Chavón, the 5,000-seat Grecian-style amphitheater that has hosted Frank Sinatra, Sting, Elton John, Andrea Bocelli, Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, Julio Iglesias, Plácido Domingo and, most recently, Jennifer Lopez; or dinner with Casa de Campo’s president, Andrés Pichardo, with a private reserved section at the new Minitas Beach Club.
