The Chatwal, New York Unveils Family Friendly Programs

The Chatwal, New York's brand-new partnership with baby gear company, UPPAbaby has enabled guests to enjoy a range of complimentary services and amenities, including access to UPPAbaby’s range of strollers, bassinets and car seats, exclusive to Chatwal guests. Whether it's an excursion downtown or a stroll through Central Park, families can take on city streets with the UPPAbaby MINU; a compact lightweight stroller for daily adventures. Additionally, accessories like the From Birth Kit and MESA infant car seat adapters will be available to accommodate hotel guests’ needs.

This partnership with UPPAbaby is the newest addition to The Chatwal, New York’s series of family-friendly amenities.The complete list of offers are the following:

ViBabies: The Chatwal curated amenities designed to help the youngest VIP guests travel in style. Families will receive an Honest Oh Baby! Kit filled with a line of all-organic toiletries, a Chatwal Charlie stuffed animal, a bedtime story book and a menu of organic baby purées curated by the hotel's restaurant, The Lambs Club.
Broadway’s Rising Stars: The new in-room "Dressing Room" trunk is available to borrow in each of The Chatwal’s one-bedroom suites. The trunk is filled with accessories to transform younger guests into character, ranging from the Wicked Witch of the West’s black hat and Elsa’s tiara, as well as the Aladdin-inspired magic carpet and genie lamp and Harry Potter’s glasses and wand. Costumes will be revamped each year depending on the running shows. During intermission, families can enjoy a new Broadway-themed afternoon tea with sweet treats and mini bites taking inspiration from fan-favorites Aladdin, Lion King and Frozen.
Juan Knows Best: Guests can now navigate the various productions each season with The Chatwal’s theater concierge, Juan Espinal. Introducing children to the arts, or supporting a star-in-training, Espinal will work with families to craft a Broadway experience including a behind-the-scenes look at some of Broadway’s theaters, tickets to otherwise sold-out productions, and meet-and-greets with cast favorites.
A "Suite" Stay: The Chatwal’s one-bedroom suite collection offers bedrooms open to a separate living area with a custom-designed queen-size Murphy bed by Thierry Despont, an in-suite kitchenette, and a fully stocked maxi bar. Additionally, for more room, terrace suites includes an al fresco dining area for breakfasts and a customizable s'mores kit for camp-outs this summer.

In addition, families can receive 25 percent off a second room and free meals for children up to age 12 with the global excursion package. Highlights include a family movie night completed with treats and drinks and a children’s puppet theater in-room to keep little ones entertained all evening. Each child will be provided with a Margherita Missoni backpack and New York City travel journal. For its ViBabies, The Chatwal provides all the necessities: an infant tub, a supply of Honest Co. toiletries, and a Chatwal Charlie stuffed animal.
