COMO Launches Extended Stay “Travel Bubble” in Thailand

With the new 60-day tourist visa recently launched to restart the Thai tourism economy—reported on by our sister publication Travel Agent—COMO Hotels and Resorts has introduced the “COMO Bubble,” designed for an extended stay of at least 21 nights at its two Thai properties, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok and COMO Point Yamu Phuket.

Complying fully with Thailand’s quarantine rules for international visitors, the journey starts with a luxury airport pick up, followed by a 15-night stay at COMO’s city hotel COMO Metropolitan Bangkok. During this period, the kitchen team will be busy preparing daily menus of nutritious and delicious cuisine. To benefit both physical and mental wellbeing, complimentary yoga and guided meditation classes are on offer throughout the stay.

When the stay in Bangkok comes to an end, guests will be transferred to the island of Phuket, to continue their COMO experience at the Paola Navone-designed COMO Point Yamu. The cliffside retreat is located on the eastern side of Phuket, at the tip of Cape Yamu with views across the Andaman Sea. While seven nights are included in the 21-night COMO Bubble package, additional weeks at COMO Point Yamu can be added.

Here, guests can enjoy jungle treks, mountain biking and seafood barbecues under the stars.

At COMO Metropolitan Bangkok, full board, daily afternoon tea, daily mindfulness sessions, two mini-bar replenishments and return airport transfers are included. Guests will also receive two COVID-19 screening tests and twice daily temperature checks. A 24H nurse will be available for any medical assistance and an official certificate to declare health status upon departure provided. In Phuket, daily breakfast, a four-hour sunset cruise on the resort’s private yacht, one 90-minute COMO Shambhala massage for two and one exclusive in-villa private dining experience and all villa benefits are included.
