The Corinthia Hotel London is offering American guests a limited-time only Black Friday inspired deal: trips booked between November 16 and November 23, 2016 will receive a guaranteed US dollar rate across all room categories by using the code USDGTD.
The dollar-based rate will be available for stays between November 21, 2016 and December 30, 2017 (excluding some blackout dates). Currently, the sterling (commonly referred to as the pound) is about 20 percent stronger than the U.S. dollar, with the U.S. dollar only valuing at about 80 cents of the sterling. Guests who take advantage of The Corinthia Hotel London deal will receive around a 20 percent savings on room rates.
“We want to welcome American visitors to this side of the pond,” said The Corinthia Hotel London’s General Manager Thomas M Fischer. “They can take advantage of the strength of the dollar against sterling and effectively enjoy around a 20% discount. The sterling/dollar rate hasn’t been this good for Americans for a long time so why not take advantage of it?”
For guests who can make it this year, the hotel is offering a traditional three-course Thanksgiving dinner with champagne to make Americans feel more at home on November 24, 2016. For guests that need a little more time to plan their trans-continental trip, don’t worry, the American tradition will be back again at the London property next year as well.
