Dior is putting down permanent roots in Sicily. The maison has partnered with Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina to open a permanent Dior Spa in summer 2026, tucked into the gardens of one of the island's most storied properties.
The opening extends Dior's Haute Wellness philosophy into Sicily for the first time on a permanent basis, pairing the maison's wellness codes with Belmond's Slow Luxury ethos and a healthy dose of Sicilian art de vivre. For advisors with clients who treat a hotel spa as a destination in its own right, it's a notable addition to the Taormina luxury landscape.
The spa spans four treatment rooms set within the grande dame's terraced gardens, where the hotel's Sicilian mosaic floors meet Dior's design language in natural materials like stone, onyx, and pale-hued woods. The four cabins — Diorazur, Diorama, Rosa dei Venti, and the Isola Bella Suite — include a standout couples' space in the Isola Bella Suite, which comes with its own beauty room for custom makeup sessions and an infrared sauna.
On the menu, Dior's Haute Wellness philosophy leans into the bespoke. The signature Talisman of Vitality treatment draws on lithotherapy and Ayurveda for revitalization and energetic rebalancing, and invites each guest to choose a semi-precious Sicilian gem as a personal talisman. Rounding out the offerings are Dior's face treatments, developed with facialist Hadda Akrim, plus body protocols including New Look, D-Tissue, Constellation, and 9 Moons, and face treatments such as Kobi-Dior, Golden Aura, and Dior Powered by Hydrafacial.
Guests looking to go deeper can book the Dior Wellness Villeggiatura, a personalized holistic program co-created with Global Dior Wellness experts alongside Pilates specialist Byrony Deery and nutrition expert and functional medicine practitioner Rose Ferguson. The program blends anti-inflammatory movement with hormesis for what Dior bills as deep regeneration and renewed vitality.
