Dorchester Collection Adds Arabella El Batkouki as Global Director of Sales

Dorchester Collection has announced the appointment of Arabella El Barkouki as global director of sales, effective immediately.

Reporting to Philip Morris, Dorchester Collection’s vice president, commercial, El Barkouki is responsible for leading the brand’s global sales teams, developing sales strategies to support growth and spearheading policies, objectives and initiatives across the portfolio of current and future hotels.

El Barkouki brings over 20 years of leadership experience from the luxury hospitality industry to her role.  This appointment marks a return for her to Dorchester Collection. She first joined the brand in 2008 and spent four years as regional director of sales for the U.K., Europe and Russia before being promoted to director of sales and marketing for Le Richemond, Geneva, which was managed by Dorchester Collection at the time. In 2015, El Barkouki went on to join Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as head of regional sales, Europe and held several sales leadership roles during her seven years with the company. Most recently, she served as the brand’s vice president of global sales partners.

A British national, El Barkouki holds a bachelor’s degree from University of East Anglia and was recognized in Walpole Power List 2022 as one of the most influential people in British luxury.
