Ritz-Carlton SPA, Key Biscayne puts the finishing touches on its $2 million renovation.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Key Biscayne has just wrapped up a $2 million transformation this season, putting more luxury touches on this destination spa.
Arriving at the 20,000-square-foot space is a Zen-like experience in itself, as guests are greeted with a mosaic waterfall, modern gold fixtures and contemporary art displays. Wet areas, including Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, received the largest refresh, incorporating natural tones contrasted with custom mosaic murals. Salon and treatment rooms also received a freshening up as well.
As a full-service spa and wellness facility, the fitness center expands to include a reception area with private day lockers, all new cardiovascular/weight equipment and a core/stretching action station. Monthly fitness calendars offer indoor and outdoor classes for both guests and locals. Cool touch: On the nights of the Full Moon, guests can go for a spinning workout or relax with yoga on the resort’s Grand Lawn. “Spin Stars” provides ice cold towels, water and cool down spinners with spritzes of water.
Spa Director David Bremer is also debuting a contemporary new spa menu that caters to men, women and expectant mothers (think Signature Tropical Paradise Hydrating Wrap, Pina Colada Body Polisher and Island Escape packages). Fresh signature nail services allow guests to create a unique and personalized experience from a menu of scents and ingredients.
