Former CuisinArt to Debut as Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club This Fall

A “new” resort will open on the shores of Anguilla this November. Following its purchase by Olympus Ventures earlier this year, the Resorts & Residences by CuisinArt will undergo a phased renovation before reopening as Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club.

A highlight? The resort will launch with an exclusive fleet of jets, offering charter service for guests with direct airlift from key U.S. markets, making travel to the destination easier than ever before.

The property’s new design, overseen by Leo A Daly, will roll out in phases, ultimately covering all public spaces, guestrooms and suites. Newly unveiled interiors will be bright and airy, with natural materials and highlights of the resort’s signature shade of orange and deep blue.

The culinary vision has been designed by chef Abram Bissell, who will recreate the flavors and the playful nature of island dishes. Chef Bissell now resides in Anguilla with his family after many years as a chef in New York City, where he helmed the kitchens of both The Modern and Eleven Madison Park, which earned two and three Michelin stars, respectively. The resort restaurants’ offerings will be created to honor the culinary heritage of Anguilla and the ingredients grown, caught and raised around the island. Guests can expect refined twists on Anguillan cuisine alongside Chef Bissell’s new-American cooking. There will also be an on-property Hydroponic Farm and Orchard, where chef Bissell and his team will harvest fresh fruits and vegetables.

Aurora International Golf Club will debut alongside Aurora Anguilla. Following a comprehensive “remastering” overseen by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, the 18-hole signature design championship course—the only golf course on the island—pairs challenging holes with ocean views. The Golf Club will be home to spacious practice facilities, fully outfitted locker rooms for men and women, a restaurant overseen by Chef Bissell and more. A nine-hole short Signature golf course, also designed by Greg Norman, will be introduced. It will be well-suited for families, those who are new to the sport and travelers seeking to sneak in a quick round.
