Get SOAKED with Fresh-Fruit Cocktails Atop the Mondrian SoHo

New Yorkers can't seem to get enough of swanky rooftop bars, and we have to agree that not much compares with sipping a trendy cocktail while taking in the city skyline. Mondrian SoHo has debuted SOAKED, a new sky-high cocktail bar with a fresh new approach. Jesse Itzler, invester in Zico Coconut Water and co-founder of Marquis Jet Partners, developed the "orchard to bar" concept which offers high-quality, fresh fruit infused cocktails, minus the excess sugar and aritificial flavors.

SOAKED's cocktail menu includes market-fresh cocktails and fruit-infused premium spirits. You can choose from a list of categories such as Soaked, Infused, Muddled, Shaken, Brewed, Stirred, and Swizzled. Signature "juiced" cocktails mix cold pressed Liquiteria juices with premium spirits, resulting in fruity libations such as the Super Friends, made with Avion tequila, apple, pear, pineapple, wheatgrass and mint. Some of the yummy liquor infusions include Pisco with Blueberries and Cardamom and Mezcal with Mexican Chocolate and Chile de Arbol. The "orchard" concept doesnt stop at fresh libations and frozen treats, the indoor and outdoor penthouse has natural landscaping, oversized planters, and a rooftop grass meadow.
If it's your stomach that's calling, SOAKED also had fresh "soaked" fruit and popsicles - think Strawberry-Rhubarb with Basil & Absolut Vodka. Frozen soft serve is also available from Soft Serve Fruit Co.
The fresh "soaked" fruit sounds divine, with white peaches infused with maple and bourbon and cherries macerated in crème fraiche and Avion tequila among the choices.
SOAKED is a private event by invitation only. Located at 150 Lafayette Street, SOAKED at Mondrian SoHo will be open from July 12th through Labor Day, September 3rd, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for hotel guests and by invitation only from 6 PM – 12:30 AM.
