Dusit Thani Bangkok Offers Special Promotions Before Closing

The popular hotel is set to close next year.

Dusit Thani Bangkok has announced that it will close April 16, 2018 to reform as part of a mixed-use development area. Along with the hotel, the project will feature residences, retail areas, office spaces, and a large green space. In keeping with the original hotel theme, many of the original trees on the property will be incorporated in the new design, as will its handcrafted teakwood décor, historical ornaments, and its famous spire. The new design is set to open in 2022.

In honor of its last few months, the 48-year-old hotel is offering special events and promotions to thank its guests through the years.

The Wedding Memories promotion will offer all couples who have held a wedding reception at the hotel since its opening in 1970 a free three-course lunch or dinner. Guests should show a picture of their wedding to redeem the offer.
