Grand Hyatt Bogota Opens in Colombia

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Grand Hyatt Bogota, marking the first Hyatt hotel in the Colombian capital and the first Grand Hyatt-branded hotel in Colombia. The 372-room luxury property is located in the heart of the Ciudad Empresarial Sarmiento Angulo commercial district, up the road from the Corferias and Ágora Bogotá convention centers, and minutes from the Gran Estación Mall, El Dorado International Airport and Bolívar Square.

In addition to offering luxury amenities and accommodations, Grand Hyatt Bogota showcases Colombian culture through its architecture, interior design and multicultural culinary offering.

Accommodations

The hotel has 372 guestrooms, including 50 suites, which have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the inner atrium garden, the city, or the Andes Mountains. Additionally, suites and club room guests have exclusive access to the Grand Club Lounge, which provides a space with personal concierge services and culinary highlights throughout the day.

Dining

Grand Hyatt Bogota will offer an array of cuisines, including Japanese and Colombian. Restaurants include Ushin Japanese & Grill;  Capitalino Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, blending international dishes with Colombian traditions; Ilustre Bar, for small plates and signature cocktails; and Aldeana Market, where guests can get Colombian coffee and baked goods. 

Wellbeing and Fitness

The hotel invites guests to schedule time for themselves at Zaitania Spa, where aestheticians and massage therapists work to refresh guests in 11 treatment rooms. After treatments, guests can head to the relaxation area, three hydrotherapy pools, steam room, or dry sauna to extend their spa experience. With over 32,000 square feet, Zaitania Spa is located on the third floor and also has a beauty salon, an indoor pool and a fitness center.

Meetings and Events

Grand Hyatt Bogota provides spaces for meetings, events, conferences, galas or wedding festivities with 24,000-plus square feet of usable space; these rangs in scale from the Grand Ballroom, which can hold up to 1,000 people, to 269-square-foot conference rooms where small teams can work.
