Grand Velas Los Cabos Launches Oceanfront Astronomy Tour

Grand Velas Los Cabos will be giving guests the chance to enjoy Los Cabos from a different perspective.

The hotel, which opened December 20, is launching a new astronomy experience, giving travelers the chance to stargaze in one of the top-20 locations to research the sky according to NASA. As part of the experience, guests will also enjoy a bonfire and signature cocktails on the oceanfront of the Sea of Cortez.

Starting January 28, during a new moon, “Night Sky” gives guests the opportunity to discover the stars, planets, constellations, and potentially even meteor showers over the Los Cabos Baja Peninsula. Hosted by certified National Association for Interpretation (NAI) Interpreters and experts in astronomy, the three-hour tour includes guided use of a 12-inch (in diameter) telescope, the biggest in Los Cabos.

Rates at Grand Velas Los Cabos start at $750 per person per night in double occupancy. The all-inclusive rate includes luxury suite accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals at a variety of specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, fitness center, nightly entertainment, tax and service charge, and more.
