Slated to open in early 2016, W Panama will be part of the 50-floor Evolution Tower in the city’s financial district. Watch for 24 suites, three Wow suites, and one Extreme Wow suite (the W brand’s take on the Presidential Suite), a destination nightclub, a WET pool deck and a spa.
Cordée des Alpes in Switzerland’s Verbier ski resort opens December 22, with just 34 rooms in the same alpine lodge as 14 Penthouse residences. There’s a spa with a pool, Alpine steam and sauna rooms and a gym with a Pilates room. The hotel is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
