The Inn at Perry Cabin, a seaside resort on Maryland's Eastern shore, owned and operated by Orient-Express, has named Jerry Broz ([email protected]) general manager. With 30 years of hospitality industry experience under his belt, Broz has worked with such luxury brands as Ritz-Carlton and Auberge Resorts. Prior to joining The Inn at Perry Cabin, Broz served as GM at The Stanley Hotel in Colorado.
Capella Hotels and Resorts has appointed Holly Waterbor-Breuche ([email protected]) director of sales and marketing for The Setai Fifth Avenue, slated for a November opening in midtown Manhattan. Waterbor-Breuche started her career at the likes of The Plaza and Waldorf=Astoria and was a director of marketing at the Morgans Hotel Group.
Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts has new chain codes on the GDS for its hotels under the Preferred banner. Six Gran Meliá hotels, including Puerto Rico and Don Pepe, and three ME by Meliá hotels (Madrid, for one) will use PH, while two Meliá hotels (Mexico Reforma and Cabo Real) will use code XL. Luxury travel advisors can also use master code PV.
