InterContinental Offers “The Diamond Stay” in Danang

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is celebrating its diamond anniversary (75 years) by offering guests a line up of limited-time offers, ranging from anniversary cocktails to in-stay encounters. One such option is the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort's “Diamond Stay” experience.

Spread over 39 hectares on the natural preserve of Vietnam's Son Tra Peninsula, the hotel’s exclusive experiences include the chance to meet two inspirational figures: Architect and designer Bill Bensley and French culinary icon Pierre Gagnaire. The package is available for a minimum of four people staying for two nights in the two-bedroom Sun Peninsula Residence Villa. The 8,600-square-foot residence has spacious living room, dining area and kitchen, two infinity pools, a sea-facing terrace, and a private bay for a dip in the sea. The villa also offers a personal Villa Host.

On the first day of this stay, guests will explore Monkey Bay or relax at the private beach. Then, as the sun sets over the lush, jungle-clad hills, residents will savor a personally prepared beach barbecue, complete with signature “InterContinental75” cocktails and champagne.

The next day, a private tour of the newly opened Bensley Outsider Gallery will allow visitors to discover original artworks by Bill Bensley, the visionary architect, artist and interior designer, with $500 credit to spend at the Gallery. This is followed by a video “coffee date” with Bensley himself.

That evening, the culinary team at La Maison 1888, the hotel’s restaurant overseen by Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire, will prepare a meal that fuses French flavors with Vietnamese influence, and is complemented by rare vintages from the “Cellar Treasures” collection—a selection of some of the world’s finest wines. A live video chat with Gagnaire at the Buffalo Bar will allow food-lovers to learn all about the life and career of this three Michelin-starred chef.

The Diamond Stay is priced at $33,000 per package, for stays taken in the fourth quarter of 2021 (subject to local travel restrictions). To book this travel experience, contact [email protected].
