Introducing: The Russian River Boutique Hotels

Six of the Russian River Valley’s boutique properties—Mine+Farm, The Stavrand Russian River Valley, Dawn Ranch, Farmhouse Inn, Boon Hotel + Spa and AutoCamp Russian River—have announced their collaborative effort to promote destination awareness in Sonoma County, uniting as the Russian River Boutique Hotels.

Set amidst acres of vineyards and redwoods, travelers who follow California’s Russian River west towards the Sonoma coast through the Valley will arrive in the towns of Guerneville—a logging community turned insider retreat and LGBTQ+ hotspot with a growing gastronomic scene—and Forestville, a longtime bohemian hideaway for artists and writers. It is these two towns that this collective of unique and notable hotels now known as Russian River Boutique Hotels call home.

Located in the heart of Sonoma’s Wine Country, this region is well-suited for visitors looking for an upscale Northern California experience. The area is ideal for nature and adventure seekers, and wellness and wine enthusiasts. The region offers a range of activities from hiking and kayaking, besides restaurant concepts, spas and over 70 local and family-owned tasting rooms within the Russian River Valley.

Russian River Boutique Hotels allow guests to curate their experiences, showcasing the local signature offerings in addition to innovative concepts such as trips into the redwoods, and a modern-day cannabis-forward interpretation of a bed & breakfast. From glamping fireside to offering farm-to-table cuisine, the lodgings create bespoke itineraries for guests. Offerings at the six hotels include an in-room vintage vinyl collection, kindness note workshops, fresh baked cookies bedside, an eco-friendly DIY bath scrub bar, and a nightly aperitif hosted by an owner or manager.

Together, Russian River Boutique Hotels offer visitors a selection of six hospitality destinations, multiple culinary options, three spas and more. With this new era of collaboration, the properties look forward to introducing the Russian River to new visitors and returning guests alike.
