Joali Being Becomes Family-Friendly, Announces New Updates

Joali Being in the Maldives has scrapped its “adults-only” policy and now welcomes guests of all ages. Guests can additionally look forward to a new spa brand, and new spaces such as a new Four Bedroom Villa, wine cellar and more.

Previously an adults-only well-being island, Joali Being is now open for all ages throughout the year. Focusing on the importance of early-stage learning and well-being, the retreat’s expert team has introduced B’Kidult, a new zone for multi-generational play with specially curated offerings. Experiences for children will be centered around Joali Being’s Four Pillars of Wellbeing (Mind, Microbiome, Skin and Energy). Families can participate in wellness workshops, cooking classes, sound healing, chats with marine biologists, sensory workshops and more. New activities focused on children and teens include Young Yogi or Kids Qi Gong, Herbarium Workshop, Meditative Imagination and Trash to Treasure Eco Art.

The new spa brand, Joali Being Cure, will bring the “weightlessness” philosophy and signature Four Pillars of Joali Being to the spa at Joali Maldives—a sister island situated just a 10-minute boat ride away. The Joali Maldives spa will be rebranded and offerings will include signature massages, specialized treatments, visiting experts and an elevated spa experience. The introduction of Joali Being Cure at Joali Maldives marks the initial step in its journey, with plans to expand its spa portfolio by incorporating more locations in forthcoming years.

Joali Being has also announced that its new Four Bedroom Beach Residence with Two Pools is now available for booking. Well suited for families, the residence has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Additionally, this month, Joali Being is set to open a new wine cellar, where guests can enjoy tasting experiences with resident sommeliers. Next month, the wellness retreat will open a second Watsu room.
