Kokomo Island Fiji to Debut in February

From Cambodia to Barbuda, there’s no shortage of private island resorts popping up in exotic locales. The latest to cross our radar is Kokomo Island Fiji, which is slated to open in March 2017. A member of SLH, Kokomo Island is an ultra-luxurious, all-inclusive private retreat developed by Australian billionaire Lang Walker for a multi-generational clientele.

The resort is situated on 140 acres surrounded by sandy beaches and rainforests, while just offshore, Astrolabe Reef is a top spot for snorkeling and diving. In fact, the resort will have its own PADI 5-star Dive Center, along with water sports including paddleboarding, sailing, fishing, kayaking and water skiing. There’s also a Kids Club, spa, tennis courts, and fitness center.

The 21 beachfront villas (available in one-, two- and three-bedroom designs) come with private decks and infinity pools. Complimentary amenities include wifi and movies. There are also five luxury residences at Kokomo Island Fiji—perched on the hilltop in the rainforest.
