Leading Hotels of the World Adds 11 Members

Silversands Grenada

The Leading Hotels of the World, an independent luxury hotel collection consisting of over 400 members, introduced its 11 newest additions. Stretching across the Caribbean, South America, Europe and Asia, this round of new members includes nine that opened in late 2018 and one that will open in early 2019.

Silversands Grenada – St. Georges, Grenada

Luxury beach resort Silversands Grenada, just opened in December 2018. Each of its 52 guestrooms, suites and villas have been built to face west for perfect sunset views. Guests can relax at the Silversands Spa or the resort’s infinity pool, the longest one in the Caribbean at 330 feet.  In their free time, guests can explore the island’s chocolate factories and spice fields.

TRS Coral Hotel – Cancun, Mexico

Situated along the white sand beaches of Costa Mujeres, this adults-only property only began welcoming guests in November 2018. Each of TRS Coral Hotel’s 469 guestrooms comes with outdoor space, hydro-massaging tubs and panoramic views. While at the hotel, guests can visit the private beach club, relax at a fully-outfitted spa or dine at the CHIC Cabaret & Restaurant.

Fasano Belo Horizonte opened October 2018 and features 77 accommodations, a spa, a fitness center and more.

Fasano Salvador – Salvador, Brazil

In December 2018, Fasano opened another Brazilian location in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salvador. Fasano Salvador offers 70 large apartments, a rooftop pool, a spa and more. Guests looking for things to do in this historic city can consult the hotel staff, who will help craft itineraries based on guests’ interests. Within walking distance, visitors can see Salvador’s old historic center Pelourinho, the cultural museum Casa de Jorge Amadao or Casa do Carnaval, an interactive carnival house.

BLESS Hotel Madrid – Madrid, Spain

Opening in January 2019, BLESS Hotel Madrid will offer 111 guestrooms, each offering the property’s personalized ‘Bathology’ and ‘BlessedBed’ services. Nestled within Madrid’s Salamanca district, the hotel will provide quick access to the city’s numerous attractions. Guests looking to stay on the property can head to Fetén Clandestine Bar, BLESS Hotel Madrid’s own bowling bar.

Capri Tiberio Palace – Capri, Italy

Capri Tiberio Palace rests just a short walk away from the island’s famous Piazetta. Guests staying at one of the property’s 45 guestrooms and suites can visit the hotel spa, the sea-view Terrazza Tiberio restaurant or the property’s own private vegetable garden.

Le Massif – Courmayeur, Italy

Opened in December 2018, this mountainside property offers 78 guestrooms and suites. With easy access to ski lifts, Le Massif’s location makes it perfect for visitors looking to spend time in the mountains. In the winter, the hotel can arrange for a guide to help guests ski along a 24-kilometer ski route into The Vallée Blanche.

Le Monumental Palace – Porto, Portugal

Maison Albar Hotels’ Le Monumental Palace opened in November 2018. Occupying a building that was built in 1923, the property displays Art Nouveau and Art Deco design. The 76-room hotel offers a spa, pool, lounge, library and three different locations run by the French Michelin-starred chef Julien Montbabut.

The RuMa Hotel and Residences – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Located close to the center of Kuala Lumpur’s business and entertainment districts, The RuMa Hotel and Residences began welcoming guests in November 2018. The 253-room property features a library lounge, spa, gym, outdoor pool bar and more.
