The Lindis, New Zealand’s latest Luxury Lodge, officially opened its doors in early November. The new luxury lodge is located on New Zealand’s South Island in the Ahuriri Valley, North Otago. It sits on a 6,000-acre plot of New Zealand wilderness and is surrounded on three sides by conservation parks.
Housing five suites, the main building blends into the landscape with a timber roof that mirrors the organic natural landscape surrounding it.
Inside and the finish continues with a mix of sculptural and modern fittings. The expanse of glass along the front of the building links the lodge to its surroundings as guests look out onto uninterrupted views of the meandering river and mountains beyond.
New Zealand in Depth says for the service to fit the quality of The Lindis’ design, architecture and setting, a professional team of hospitality specialists will deliver fine dining, exceptional wines and several activities.
From the lodge guests can chance their arm at one of the world’s top 10 fly fishing spots located right on the lodge’s doorstep. Also available is hiking, mountain climbing, mountain biking and horse riding.
