Lotte New York Palace and Hästens, “maker of the world’s most luxurious beds,” have launched an exclusive partnership. The partnership marks Lotte New York Palace as the hotel with the most extensive collection of Hästens beds in North and South America, which will occupy eight of its top suites, the centerpiece being the newly unveiled Hästens Ultimate Sleep Suite.
The Hästens Ultimate Sleep Suite has Hästens-inspired Scandinavian design elements and its trademark checkered pattern throughout the two-bedroom accommodation. Guests can choose from three Hästens beds to sleep in, including the flagship Vividus bed in the master bedroom – the only suite in the world to house this iteration of the Vividus, which retails for $200,000—and two queen-size Maranga model beds available in the second bedroom.
It additionally has an open living and dining room with a table for six, a galley-style kitchen and wet bar, as well as a heritage gallery from the brand, displaying the history of Hästens and the beds’ creation process. Amenities include Hästens towels, throw pillows, alpaca throws and signature candies. In the bathroom, guests will find deep soaking tubs and separate glass showers, while the master bedroom has a walk-in closet and dressing area. Available services include Maître d'etage service, complimentary Wi-Fi, Maybach car service, packing and unpacking services, 24-hour in-suite dining, housekeeping and nightly turn-down.
Those who book The Hästens Ultimate Sleep Suite receive a consultation with Lotte New York Palace’s Sleep Curator before check-in to customize their stay experience prior to their arrival; this includes: Confirming sizing for guests’ complimentary pajamas and slippers, pillow preferences, wake-up calls and personalized tea service. Upon check-in, guests have access to a full Hästens accessories closet to utilize during their stay (think: bathrobes, slippers, down boots, sleep masks and more).
The Hästens Ultimate Sleep Suite is located within The Towers, a hotel-within-a-hotel section of Lotte New York Palace. The Towers occupies the top 14 floors and offers its own private reception area and dedicated Les Clefs d’Or concierge team exclusive to Towers guests.
Fun facts: Each Hästens bed is handmade using all natural, breathable materials, such as cotton, flax, horsehair, pine and wool. At the Hästens atelier in Sweden, the brand’s certified craftsmen use intricate side-stitching techniques to create every bed model—each of which is designed to cater to consumers’ sleep patterns and preferences. The Vividus takes 350 working hours to complete a single order.
