Mandarin Oriental Opens Urban Resort in Istanbul

There’s a new luxury hotel on the shores of the Bosphorus in Istanbul.

Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul has 100 guestrooms and suites with views over the Bosphorus and the city skyline. Guests can expect a wide range of restaurants and bars, significant entertainment spaces for social gatherings, and a Mandarin Oriental Spa.

Totaling nearly 5,100 square feet is the Royal Bosphorus Suite—the top digs at the hotel. The one-bedroom accommodation has its own living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, private gym and winter garden. In the bedroom, guests will find a walk-in closet, marble en-suite bathroom fitted with oversized vanities, a bathtub, double steam shower, separate powder room and makeup table. For larger parties, this suite can be connected to two or four additional bedrooms.

For dining, the main Novikov restaurant will located directly on the shorefront; there will also be a classic Novikov Lounge Bar, a vibrant Bosphorus Lounge with a waterfront terrace and the Novikov Pool Bar in a garden oasis. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus offers an extensive range of wellness and beauty therapies and includes luxury treatment rooms, hammams, private relaxation areas, exercise and fitness facilities, as well as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

For corporate and social events, the hotel features three expansive ballrooms, a garden terrace and pool area, and six meeting rooms. There is also a unique open space which can be hired and decorated in a bespoke manner befitting of special occasions and celebrations.

Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul is located 15 minutes from the city’s central Taksim Square. Istanbul’s major attractions, historical sites and museums are a short drive away, and the hotel is a short walk to the nightlife in Kuruçeşme. The hotel is adjacent to Kuruçeşme and Bebek parks, which have extensive pathways, great for walking or jogging. The Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen international airports are less than an hour away.
