Marbella Club Launches Bespoke Wellness Retreats for Private Groups

The Marbella Club hotel in Spain is offering private groups of four to 10 the chance to create their own bespoke wellness retreats. These retreats are well-suited for families or groups of friends looking to reconnect with their inner selves and each other.

Marbella Club’s bespoke group retreats are designed to equip guests with the knowledge and tools required to continue their wellness journeys after the retreat has ended. Crafted by a team of naturopaths, nutritionists, therapists and fitness leaders, these retreats tackle a range of health issues, including exhaustion, stress and burnout; gut and liver health; nutrition for inner and outer beauty; fitness and weight loss; and aging gently. Private group retreats can last between two and seven nights; however, those looking to continue on their wellness journey can work with Marbella Club’s expert team for as long as they like—via virtual consultations after they’ve returned home.

Each retreat will begin with a visit to Marbella Club’s Holistic Studio, where each guest will receive a personalized consultation with a resident naturopath nutritionist, followed by bio-energetic testing on the Qest machine. Daily talks and wellness workshops will be accompanied by a range of holistic healing therapies, such as Tibetan bowl singing, meditation, breath-work, aerial yoga and Pilates. Fitness sessions include personal training, cycling along the seafront promenade and guided hikes through the natural parks and nearby Sierra Blanca Mountains. At the Thalasso Spa, guests can enjoy a range of tailored massages, facials, scrubs and sensory experiences, each harnessing the benefits of the Mediterranean Sea.

The hotel’s wellness chef, Andrés Ruiz, creates customized menus that are seasonal, nutritious and refined-sugar free, but never restrictive. These menus can be enjoyed at any of Marbella Club’s restaurants, be it Chef Ruiz’s El Olivar, or the newly opened El Patio. Chef Ruiz will also lead cooking demonstrations for health-conscious guests.

For private groups looking to add more exclusivity to their retreat, Marbella Club’s beachfront villa Rincon del Mar offers accommodation for up to 10 guests. The villa offers immersive wellbeing facilities and direct access to the Holistic Studio next door; five bedrooms which can convert to treatment rooms for in-villa pampering; and a kitchen area ideal for cooking demonstrations and discussions. Guests desiring more space can opt to connect Rincon del Mar with next-door Villa del Mar, which offers an additional six bedrooms, a private swimming pool, garden and patios.

Those seeking a solo journey can opt for the individual lifestyle programs, which range from two to seven nights. There are six programs, each with a different focus: from Mediterranean pampering, gentle detoxification and body conditioning, to energy-boosting, sleep enhancement and stress relief.
