Marriott's Autograph Collection Announces Three New Hotels

Blackhawk Bowl & Martini Lounge in the Hotel Blackhawk Marriot International’s Autograph Collection continues to grow in the United States with the debut of three new hotels: Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa in Lake Arrowhead, Hotel Adagio in San Francisco, and the Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport, Iowa. Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa and the Hotel Adagio are the collection’s first hotels in California. These independent upscale hotels were chosen for the Autograph Collection for their quality, originality, and bold character.

Following a $26 million dollar renovation, Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa reopened in April as part of the Autograph Collection. The resort features 162 guest rooms and 11 suites.  The Lakeview rooms have views of Lake Arrowhead, while their Alpine rooms face the mountainside. The resort also features the “Spa of the Pines,” as well as a full service salon and fitness studio.  Guests can dine lakeside at BIN189, or grab a snack at Mountain Aroma's, a coffee bar just off the lobby. To celebrate Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa joining the Autograph Collection, the hotel is offering the YinYang Spa Package with rates beginning at $585.00 USD for the following: Lake View Room; 30 minute body treatments for two; 90 minute massage for two in the Journey Suite; $30 Resort credit and chocolate strawberries & champagne upon arrival.

Originally built in 1929, Hotel Adagio is a landmark structure located in the heart of San Francisco’s Union Square district. The hotel features Spanish colonial revival architecture mixed with contemporary design. The hotel offers 171 rooms and suites that were recently renovated. Occupying the entire sixteenth floor, The Penthouse includes two suites, three rooms, 1,200 square feet of meeting space and an outdoor terrace with skyline views, and can be used as a venue for special events. Back in the lobby, guests can enjoy a cocktail at one of the city’s top voted bars, The Mortimer while listening to live music.

Since it first opened its doors in 1910, The Hotel Blackhawk (formerly The Blackhawk Hotel) has served as a home away from home for presidents, movie stars and athletes.  The Hotel Blackhawk completed multimillion-dollar renovations in 2010 and offers 130 renovated guestrooms and suites with art work created by local artists throughout.  Hotel amenities include a heated indoor pool and whirlpool hot tub that overlooks Davenport and the Mississippi River, The Black Hawk Fitness Center, spa and salon “Spa Luce” and the Business Center. A key highlight of the hotel is its retro-chic bowling alley, “Blackhawk Bowl & Martini Lounge.” Located on the lower level of the hotel, the alley features state-of-the-art scoring, dozens of monitors, billiards, a lounge, snack menu, and a full-stocked bar with an extensive martini list.
