The Meritage Resort and Spa Announces Room Remodel

The Meritage Resort and Spa, located at the gateway of Napa Valley, CA, has begun an extensive redesign of its 322 guestrooms. The project includes updating and modernizing the resort’s 157 Meritage guestrooms and 165 Bordeaux guestrooms. Spearheaded by HBA San Francisco, the remodel is slated for completion in March 2024.

The new design of the guestrooms is inspired by the resort’s location in Napa Valley. Guests can expect leather detailing and metal hardware as well as other leather, metal and stone finishings. Once completed, the Meritage guestrooms will have new broadloom carpet with a basket-weave pattern, furniture including deep wingback chairs with an ottoman, decorative lighting and lamps with a dark bronze finish. At the bath entry, a dark barn door will provide contrast to the white walls. Guestroom baths will sport updated vanities, decorative stone backsplash, lighted mirrors and decorative sconces.

The Bordeaux guestrooms will showcase decorative lighting with a mix of dark bronze and brushed brass, new wall coverings that highlight a subtle geometric texture to lend softness and depth to the rooms, fabrics with an organic feel, and new broadloom carpet with a geometric design. The bathrooms will have new vanities with lighted mirrors and decorative sconces. Furniture was selected as a nod to the Mission-style architecture of the resort.

Both the Meritage and Bordeaux guestrooms will have new drapery, paint, furniture and patio furniture, new art and accessories, amenities, including Frette Linens and updated millwork in the coffee niche. The corridors will also feature new decorative lighting, wallcovering and paint.

The Meritage Resort and Spa’s guestroom renovation is part of a series of upgrades at the property following a $25 million investment made by the Busch Family and Pacific Hospitality Group. Additional upgrades to the property include the recently remodeled 15,929-square-foot Meritage Ballroom, the 7,358-square-foot Carneros Ballroom, and The Village Bistro, a French-influenced pop-up dining experience that opened last July. Forthcoming upgrades include a refreshed lobby and lobby bar, Blend restaurant, Crush Lounge, a new Steakhouse and Champagne Bar, pool area and more.
