NoMad will open its first Asia-Pacific property in Singapore in late 2026, marking the lifestyle brand's debut in the region with a 19-story hotel on Orchard Road.

The opening advances Hilton's push into the luxury lifestyle segment. Hilton acquired a majority controlling interest in Sydell Group, the company that owns and operates NoMad, in 2024, marking its entry into the luxury lifestyle hotel market and giving it a premium lifestyle flag to compete with the likes of Marriott's W and EDITION. Hilton has said it hopes to develop as many as 100 NoMad hotels worldwide, with Sydell continuing to handle design, branding, and management while Hilton leads development.

The Singapore opening will feature three distinct dining and bar concepts plus a poolside lounge, anchoring NoMad's entry into a market its leadership describes as a global culinary powerhouse.

NoMad Grill, the property's signature restaurant, blends classic brasserie traditions with a New York-style chophouse, centering on dry-aged meats cooked over wood fire alongside seafood and seasonal produce. Tableside service will nod to the grand dining traditions of New York, reimagined for Singapore.

Sticky Fingers, overlooking Orchard Road, will serve house-made gourmet soft serve sundaes by day before transforming into an intimate cocktail bar at night, pairing desserts and drinks through inventive flavor combinations and an evolving menu built around local ingredients.

The Tropicana Club, NoMad's craft cocktail bar, draws on the golden age of cabaret and the glamour of 1940s and 1950s Havana. The concept references both Havana's Tropicana Club, which opened in 1939, and Singapore's own Tropicana Club, which followed in 1953. Its cocktail program centers on era-defining classics — Martinis, Daiquiris, Manhattans, and Cuban drinks — elevated with Southeast Asian ingredients, paired with live music and DJ sets.

A fourth venue, Lú Bar, will offer a quieter poolside setting with aperitivo cocktails, lush greenery, and design details celebrating the symbolism of the Heron.

"Singapore is one of the most exciting food and beverage cities in the world. Our goal is not simply to bring NoMad to Singapore, but to create something that feels genuinely connected to the city and its culture. Each venue has been designed with its own identity and energy, while sharing the warmth, generosity and sense of occasion that define the NoMad experience. We want these spaces to become destinations for both travellers and locals alike," said Leo Robitschek, global head of bars and hospitality development at Sydell.

Robitschek, who leads NoMad's global cocktail program, has earned a James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program and recognition on the World's 50 Best Bars list.

NoMad has also built out its culinary and operational leadership for the opening. Josh Harnden, named global culinary director, brings more than two decades of experience across Michelin-starred restaurants and concept-driven openings, including a tenure as partner and creative culinary director at Eleven Madison Park, along with roles at One White Street, The Noortwyck, and the original NoMad NYC kitchen. He will take a leading role in the property's F&B development.

Harnden will be joined by Lorenz Hoja as director of culinary. Hoja spent more than a decade working alongside the late chef Joël Robuchon, including at Singapore's two-Michelin-starred L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. He described his approach as celebrating "exceptional ingredients, thoughtful cooking, and the belief that great meals create lasting memories."

Bernardo de la Garza will serve as general manager. He brings more than 18 years of international hospitality experience across Six Senses, Hyatt Hotels, and Accor, most recently as general manager at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.
