Now Open: Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, a new boutique hotel with a vibrant atmosphere and art deco flair, opens in Fort Lauderdale Beach. The former Kimpton Goodland, rebranded as Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach, will offer guests an elevated experience and updated programming, taking cues from the original Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach Resort. The resort will allow guests to experience the local lifestyle, sprawling beaches and varied entertainment options with on-property activities in music, fitness, mixology, wellness and more. The three-story resort has 96 guestrooms, including two junior suites.

Furry friends are an extension of hotel guests’ families and are welcomed with pet-friendly amenities like water bowls, doggie waste bags, leashes and treats at no extra cost.

The lobby is adorned with plush seating, rattan accent chairs and mid-century light fixtures. At check-in, guests are greeted with a signature welcome cocktail. Just off the lobby is the resort’s new on-site restaurant, La Fuga. It will feature a menu of contemporary coastal Italian cuisine by Chef Michael Mayer and a selection of beverages. The indoor-outdoor space includes views of the hotel’s scenic courtyard, plus a private dining room for up to 30 pax.

As guests make their way to the rooftop, they’re greeted by a pop-up gallery at the elevator bank that will soon feature a rotating series of artworks in partnership with local creators. The rooftop deck will feature a schedule of music, and activations on a regular basis. The resort also has two pool areas to offer guests a secluded, laid-back vibe.
