New in Africa: One Nature Hotels recently expanded their portfolio with the addition of One Nature Nyaruswiga, Serengeti in Tanzania. The lodge joins a collection of African properties including ones in Kenya, Zanzibar, and South Africa.
Nyaruswiga has 13 lavish tents, each outfitted with European oak floors in the bedrooms and teak floors in the bathroom. Additionally, the tents each have a walk-in closest, handmade custom furnishings, emperor-sized beds, a pillow menu, wood burning fire stove, handmade hammer copper bathtub, in-room brass and leather bar, indoor/outdoor shower, 24-hour power and hot water supplied by solar hybrid systems, toothbrushes made of bamboo, razors with wooden handles, recycled vanity bags, and a private veranda with a daybed.
The lodge's campsite offers guests an array of amenities including a large pool and jacuzzi, a cigar and shisha lounge, butler service, and an astral observation deck with Dobsonian telescope and DSLR cameras for rent. Guests can also take advantage of one of the lodge's four-seat vehicles equipped with binoculars, USB and charging ports and foot-level camera lens hatches for photography enthusiasts.
