One&Only Aesthesis is welcoming its first guests on the Athenian Riviera. One&Only’s debut resort in Greece is situated in the neighborhood of Glyfada, set within a 52-acre beach and forest reserve. Overlooking the Aegean Sea, the resort offers a collection of rooms, bungalows, suites, residences and villas; expansive outdoor living spaces have private pools, gardens, showers and fireplaces.
The top digs? Villa One spans more than 15,000 square feet, with over 9,920 square feet of outdoor entertaining space, including an 80-foot pool, a seafront jacuzzi, panoramic vistas, decking extending to the water’s edge and a sunken lounge area with a fire pit. Next door, Villa Nostos has a central swimming pool, outdoor lounge and dining areas with a fireplace and lush native gardens just steps from the sea. The resort also offers an intimate community of One&Only Private Homes, available as part of the “Private Homes Rental Programme.”
F&B options include Manko, a day-to-night destination with a private pool and three bars, offering beachfront dining and Peruvian-inspired cuisine; Ora by Ettore Botrini serves Mediterranean cuisine; El Bar de Paco Morales is an exclusive pop-up serving Andalusian cuisine with Mediterranean flavors; Alelia bar serves craft cocktails infused with olives, herbs and citrus; overlooking the resort pool, Minima serves all-day drinks and light bites; and Thimisi offers cocktails and fine wines.
Activities include a tour of the Acropolis and its UNESCO-listed sites; bespoke workshops in Athens including “Greek Sandal Making” with local artisans; and “Conservation of Rare Art & Jewelry” at the Benaki Museum. Guests can also partake in watersports, private sailing trips, diving adventures and snorkeling tours or relax at the adults-only Mystiko beach. Club One serves as the resort’s fitness center with a fully equipped gym and tennis and padel courts. Open for younger guests aged four to 11, the children’s club has a giant treehouse village, gardens and outdoor games.
Tip: The resort is also home to the first Guerlain Spa in Greece. The spa houses 10 treatment rooms, including two double suites, a sauna, hammam and an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy personalized treatments alongside the Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio, which offers hand and foot rituals.
