Paradisus Cancun Completes $2.6 Million Renovation

Paradisus by Meliá has announced the completion of a $2.6 million renovation of the Royal Service Ocean View Suites and exclusive Royal Service Lounge at Paradisus Cancun Resort in Mexico. The large-scale renovation transformed 135 Royal Service Ocean View Suites to now have an open-air concept. In December, the resort will begin the second phase of the property refresh with new Royal Service Lagoon View Suites and a private Royal Service Solarium.

The suites and lounge’s new design palette was inspired by the surrounding environment, mirroring the ocean views and tropical landscape, such as: soft green and yellow hues on the walls, blue colors in the bathroom, and white. The ocean can now be seen from every angle of the suites through a glass wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom. Each suite is now equipped with 50-inch HDTVs, along with espresso machines and tea service.

In addition to the new suites, Royal Service guests at Paradisus Cancun now have access to an exclusive treatment at the property’s YHI Spa. The new Dead Sea Treatment consists of a magnetic facial spa treatment infused with black pearl powder, pure oils and plant extracts. The mask is later removed with a special magnet for a restored and radiant complexion.
