Paula Dirks Named New DOSM at St. Regis New York

Luxury travel advisors take note: you have a new point of contact at The St. Regis New York. Paula Dirks, previously the regional director of sales in Hawaii for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has been named the new director of sales and marketing.
 
In her new post, Dirks is charged with building on the strength of the sales and marketing department by forging strategic partnerships. In addition, she will oversee sales strategy, marketing and promotional activities, directing a team of 10. Luxury travel advisors can contact Dirks at [email protected].

In her former position as regional director of sales in Hawaii, Dirks was responsible for overseeing all Starwood properties in the region, which includes 11 properties among The St. Regis, Luxury Collection, Westin, Starwood Vacation Ownership and Sheraton brands. She was charged with maximizing the revenue for each property in addition to managing marketing, sales training, public relations and promotional activities for the region.

Prior to this position, Dirks was the director of sales and marketing and resident manager at Orient-Express Hotels in Portugal and New Orleans. Before her time at Orient-Express, Dirks acted as director of groups sales for Starwood Hotels & Resort's Hawaii and Southern California region.
