The Peninsula Beverly Hills announced the completion of a four-month redesign of its 195 guestrooms, including 38 suites and 17 private villas, as well as a new partnership with BMW of North America, which will offer guests the use of a BMW vehicle during their stay. The redesign at the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star-rated property was conceptualized by Beverly Hills-based interior design firm Forchielli Glynn.
Guestrooms are punctuated with floral-patterned drapery and bright accent pillows, while new furnishings, such as sofa beds and ottomans, sport refined contemporary lines. Room categories received new color palettes to complement the hotel's garden setting:
- Standard and Grand Deluxe guestrooms received a peach theme with classic Brunschwig & Fils tree-of-life-patterned window dressings and bed canopies, plus French-inspired bed skirts, coral-colored accents, pale champagne walls and Axminster wool carpets.
- The Second Standard and Grand Deluxe guestroom color scheme incorporates blues and whites inspired by Manuel Canovas with floral window dressings and bed canopies.
- Deluxe, California and Super Suites, as well as the villas, received an aqua, yellow, and blue theme. The window and canopy bed dressings have large prints of botanicals and pineapples.
Each room also contains interactive digital bedside tablets that can be preset in 11 languages; these control in-room functions such as lighting, room temperature, access to restaurant menus, hotel services and more.
Guests of The Peninsula Beverly Hills can travel around Los Angeles in the latest BMW 7 Series, BMW 5 Series and BMW X5 models. Those who book a suite can enjoy complimentary use of a BMW for the duration of their stay (as part of the Suite Ride promotion); guests staying in other room categories looking to get behind the wheel will be offered use of a complimentary BMW based on availability. All guests have access to complimentary chauffeured service.
