The Peninsula Paris Welcoming Guests to its Restaurants

The Peninsula Paris recently reopened its indoor restaurants for guests and also appointed wine connoisseur Florent Martin as the head sommelier. In his new role, Martin will lend his expertise to all of The Peninsula Paris’ restaurants—including the Michelin-starred L’Oiseau Blanc; the Cantonese restaurant Lili; Le Lobby and the alfresco dining terraces of La Terrasse Kléber and Le Rooftop.

L’Oiseau Blanc also introduced a new summer menu by Chef David Bizet. Diners can enjoy French cuisine in a sleek, aviation-inspired space whose expansive windows look over the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops.

Some of the dishes featured at L’Oiseau Blanc this summer include steamed red mullet with smoked eggplant; lacquered sweetbreads with chanterelles and goji berries; and smothered pigeon with Swiss chard and truffled cocoa. Desserts by Anne Coruble, pastry sous-chef, include Meyer lemon with crystallized wakame or crunchy Valrhona chocolate with candied Taggiasche olive.

In celebration of the summer season—and the reopening of its Belle Époque-era rooftop restaurant—The Peninsula Paris transformed Le Rooftop into a rose garden. Along with small plates created by Chef David Bizet, chic cocktails, and views of the Paris cityscape, diners can revel in the ambiance perfumed by heirloom roses. The floral theme is reinforced by a selection of rosé wines, offered in partnership with the Château d'Esclans. Set in the heart of the Var, a region known for its production of Provence AOC rosé varietals, the winery is famed for its Whispering Angel, Château, and Garrus labels—all of which will be available to Le Rooftop guests.

L’Oiseau Blanc is open daily from noon to 2:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. For reservations, call +33-158-126-730, or email [email protected]

Le Rooftop is open daily from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. (weather permitting). Reservation are not required. The rooftop restaurant features live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
