Between April 1 and June 30, Preferred Hotels and Resorts added 14 new member properties, including more than five openings, to its global portfolio. Each of these independent luxury hotels present personalized and authentic experiences for travelers, and range from a new design-centric boutique in central São Paulo to an urban retreat in London’s financial district.
Here are a few highlights:
The Hotel Maria (Legend Collection) – Located in Helsinki, this property will launch in December in the residential area of Kruununhaka, a 10-minute stroll from the city center and the Presidential Palace and Senate Square. Made up of four buildings built between 1885 and 1930, The Hotel Maria will have 117 guestrooms and 38 suites, plus The Maria Wellness Club with a spa and fitness center. Culinary offerings include Nordic and international dishes at The Garden Terrace; cocktails and live music at Bar Maria; and fine dining at signature restaurant Lilja.
Pulso Hotel (L.V.X. Collection) – Set to debut this September in São Paulo’s financial district, the property is an urban oasis anchored by contemporary art, dining and design in South America’s most populous city. The 57-key hotel has soaring glass windows and a curated collection of unique artwork displayed throughout the property. Facilities include a Parisian-Brazilian fusion restaurant, L’Occitane au Brésil Spa, heated pool, gym and wellness center.
Hotel Saint (Lifestyle Collection) – Set within the center of London’s financial district, and in the original square mile of the city founded nearly 2,000 years ago, the hotel is just steps from the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and other landmarks. The hotel houses 267 guestrooms and suites, a rooftop bar on the 14th floor, a gym and VQ restaurant serving traditional British dishes.
Wynn Palace Cotai (Legend Collection) – Located in Macau’s Cotai, and renowned for its large-scale floral sculptures and rare art pieces, the 28-story luxury hotel has 1,706 rooms, suites and villas. Other facilities include five signature restaurants, nine casual restaurants, a bar, a SkyCab above the Performance Lake, meeting and convention venues, the Spa at Wynn Palace and Wynn Esplanade, showcasing luxury retail brands.
EPIC SANA Marquês Hotel (L.V.X. Collection) – Perched on the hills of Lisbon and centrally located next to Marquês de Pombal Square, the hotel offers 341 guestrooms and 37 suites, including a presidential suite. The hotel offers multiple F&B venues, comprising three restaurants, two bars and a bakery. Other facilities include a 7,534 square-foot AYANNA Wellness & Spa and Sky Pool Lounge.
Other additions include: The BoTree in London (Legend Collection); Only YOU Hotel Valencia (L.V.X. Collection); Only YOU Boutique Hotel Madrid (L.V.X. Collection); Tangla Hotel Brussels (Lifestyle Collection); Wynn Macau and Encore (Legend Collection); Milano Verticale UNA Esperienze (Lifestyle Collection); Principi di Piemonte UNA Esperienze (L.V.X. Collection); The Retreat, Links and Spa at Silvies Valley Ranch in Seneca, OR (Lifestyle Collection); and Pendry Newport Beach, CA (L.V.X. Collection).
