Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced the addition of 15 new member properties to its portfolio between January 1 and March 31, 2024. The properties range from a hidden safari resort in the wilderness of Nepal to a Mediterranean hub in Split, Croatia. Highlights include:
CordeValle (L.V.X. Collection) – Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, CA, and sprawled across 1,700 acres of countryside, CordeValle has 45 guestrooms and Fairway Homes with views of the golf course and valley. Facilities include the 18-hole CordeValle Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., three restaurants and bars, a spa, an estate winery, and a tennis and pickleball center with tournament courts.
Himalayan Wildlife Sanctuary (Lifestyle Collection) – This safari resort is set along the banks of the Narayani River in the region of Amaltari in Nepal’s Chitwan. Situated on the western edge of Chitwan National Park, the fully inclusive resort offers 27 guestrooms, including private villas. Additional highlights include dining options showcasing authentic Nepali and international cuisine and access to all activities at Chitwan National Park, which is home to over 43 species of mammals, including the Bengal tiger and Nepal’s largest one-horn rhinoceros population.
Hotel Mousai Cancun - A Tafer Resort (L.V.X. Collection) – Opening in May 2024, this adults-only, all-inclusive resort is located along the white sand beach of Costa Mujeres. It will have 88 oceanfront suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and terraces with private jacuzzis. Other facilities include two pools, Spa Imagine, and unlimited dining at the resort’s restaurants, top-shelf beverages and 24-hour suite service.
Hotel Ambasador Split (L.V.X. Collection) – Located in the heart of Split, Croatia, on the West Coast promenade, this luxury boutique hotel overlooks the Adriatic Sea. It hass 98 rooms and two suites with expansive windows and modern amenities. Originally opened in 1937, the hotel has a 1,850-year-old reception desk carved from black oak found on the bed of the Sava River. The in-house guest experience team provides personalized service, including guidance on local sights and experiences. Additional highlights include gourmet dining inclusive of Mediterranean cuisine and fine wines at Restaurant Méditerranée, and treatments at Hacelia Spa.
Other additions include: Farol Hotel in Cascais, Portugal (L.V.X. Collection); Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, NV, (Lifestyle Collection); Pendry Natirar in Gladstone, NJ (L.V.X. Collection); Ara Maris in Sorrento, Italy (L.V.X. Collection); Grand Hotel Imperiale in Forte Dei Marmi, Italy (L.V.X. Collection); Glee Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya (L.V.X. Collection); Nixe Palace in Mallorca, Spain (Lifestyle Collection); Only YOU Hotel Malaga in Spain (L.V.X. Collection); South Place Hotel in London, U.K. (L.V.X. Collection); Villa Dahlia in Stockholm, Sweden (Lifestyle Collection); and SCP Corcovado Wilderness Lodge in Bahia Drake, Costa Rica (L.V.X. Collection).
