R Collection Hotels has announced the acquisition of Bianca Relais, set on the banks of Italy's Lake Annone and sheltered by the Venetian Prealps. It is located just south of Lake Como.
The hotel has 10 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame lake views. Beyond that, each room offers a personal spa by Starpool that allows guests to relax and enjoy a steam bath. Guests can also enjoy panoramic views from hydromassage tubs on their private balconies, exclusive to the three Suites.
Bianca Relais is situated on nearly four acres of gardens, home to centuries-old olive trees, plus pomegranate, pear, apple, cherry and berry shrubery. The products of the garden are a fundamental element of Bianca sul Lago Restaurant, which serves Italian cuisine. The menu is accompanied by a selection of wines ranging from Italian and French classics to small producers. Vintages and more than two hundred other labels are kept in Bianca’s wine cellar.
Guests can also enjoy a drink or bite at Drop, Bianca’s lounge bar. The all-day concept has warm interiors that expand into the outdoor terrace with lake views.
Erre Spa offers a hammam, sauna, Himalayan salt wall, tea corner, outdoor whirlpool tub and hydrotherapy circuit. The hotel invites guests to immerse themselves in the destination with an array of on- and off-site experiences. Wellness seekers can enjoy yoga, mindfulness and stretching classes, or embark on a digital detox complete with a walk through the woods followed by a mindfulness session on the shores of Lake Annone.
For those craving adventure, options range from a scenic three-hour bike tour and kayaking on Lake Annone to paragliding over Lake Como, horseback riding along the lake or mountains and hiking from the center of Lecco to the terrace of Pian Sciresa via Monte Barro. Additional experiences include a day of golf, a guided walking tour of Milan, private boat or helicopter excursions, and more.
