Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi Opens on Georgia's Black Sea Coast

Luxury travelers have a new hotel to visit in a hot up-and-coming destination. The Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the 168-room Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi, Georgia. The beachfront property is minutes from the international airport and within easy reach of Seaside Boulevard, Batumi's business, commercial and nightlife destination.

All 168 guestrooms have floor-to-ceiling glass windows, providing panoramic vistas across the city, coast and countryside. The minimalistic design was overseen by Italian architect Michele De Lucchi.

The hotel's 19,000-square-foot wellness facility features an Anne Semonin SPA and a fully-equipped fitness center. The spa offers five treatment rooms, a couples' suite, indoor pool, outdoor pool surrounded by a sun deck with chairs and parasols, kids' pool, Finnish sauna, aroma steam bath and relaxing a SPA "Ozone" Bar for refreshments.

Dining options at Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi include the Medea Bar & Restaurant, or the hotel's signature Clouds Bar & Restaurant on the 19th floor. This rooftop venue has a menu of local and international grilled dishes.

The hotel's beachside meeting space includes seven meeting rooms equipped with the latest audiovisual conference technology, as well as a Grand Ballroom, spanning 3,700 square feet with space for up to 350 guests. The Grand Ballroom can also be divided into three sections for smaller events and conferences.
