The Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta recently opened in Puerto Vallarta, in the Riviera Nayarit region of Mexico, and guests can now save up to 42 percent with holiday rates at this resort. The renovated and rebranded all-inclusive resort contains 270 rooms and suites, a pool, four new restaurants, three bars and increased meeting space. It is the sixth Occidental Grand property in the hotel collection, including the other two Mexican properties, Occidental Grand Xcaret and Occidental Gran Cozumel.

The vacation packages at Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta include: unlimited meals and snacks, à la carte dining in specialty restaurants, including alcohol, use of the fitness center, various sporting activities, including tennis and water polo, daily entertainment, nightly shows and a supervised Kids Club, for children ages four to 12. In addition, if guests wish to add more to their vacation at the resort, they can take part in the Royal Club accommodations. This is a boutique-style resort within the property that provides VIP amenities and personalized services, including: extra-large suites, a personal concierge, private check-in and checkout, room service, luxury linens, including a pillow menu, Etro toiletries, an evening turndown service, plush bathrobes, a fruit basket and preferred seating at one of the à la carte restaurants.

The holiday rates for the Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta start from $184 for travel from December 24, 2011 through January 3, 2012. The general winter rates start from $114 and are good from January 3 through April 7, 2012. These rates are per person, per night and based on double occupancy.
