Red Sea Global, Four Seasons Plan Luxury Resort in Saudi Arabia

Red Sea Global, the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations Amaala and The Red Sea, and Four Seasons have announced the development of a new luxury wellness resort and private residences in Amaala at Triple Bay. The project does not yet have a scheduled opening date.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Amaala at Triple Bay will have 220 rooms, suites and villas with private pools, alongside 26 branded residential villas. The property will also house six restaurant and bar outlets, meetings and event spaces including a 5,920-square-foot ballroom with an adjacent event lawn offering views of Hijaz Cove, a “Kids For All Seasons” program, and a Discovery Centre for guests and residents.

The resort will also offer a luxury spa as well as a bespoke collaboration with fitness trainer Harley Pasternak to merge high-performance training with the potential of Triple Bay’s 741 acres of hills, wadis and beaches. The terrain includes trails perfect for exploring the rugged cliffs and valleys. Guests and residents can also take part in an array of guided hikes, mountain biking and horseback riding, or work on their game at the 27-hole oceanfront golf course.

Tip: After a day of experiences, a Four Seasons Sleep Concierge will offer à la carte turndown menus with a choice of bath products, pillow scents, custom turndown music, mattress and pillow filling, pre-set vibrating and adjustable bed settings complete with circadian light automated settings.

The resort and residences are being designed by architects U+A, which will take inspiration from the destination’s setting between the foothills of the Hijazi Mountains and the waters of Hijaz Cove on the Red Sea coast. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a grand entry that opens onto the manicured grounds and a panoramic view of Hijaz Island and sunsets. A variety of rooms and villas will provide guests with a range of space and configuration options, interspersed by outdoor spaces, including the Water Garden, Cascade Garden and the Wellness Garden.

The 26 Private Residences will comprise villas ranging from 3,444 square feet to more than 6,996 square feet, each with private pools and ocean views.

Good to know: Aligned with Amaala’s commitment to sustainability and well-being, the project is complemented by the “Four Seasons For Good” program. The first phase of Amaala, focused on the Triple Bay master plan, is well underway, with the first guests set to be welcomed in 2025. The complex will consist of 12 resorts offering upwards of 2,000 hotel keys. Once complete, Amaala will be home to over 3,900 hotel rooms across 29 hotels, and approximately 1,200 luxury residential villas, apartments and estate homes, supporting high-end retail, fine dining, wellness and recreational facilities.
