The Resort at Paws Up welcomes hospitality, sales and events veteran Laura Crugnale as The Resort’s new director of group sales. For more than 25 years, Crugnale has held senior leadership roles, including director positions at the Allison Inn & Spa and the Preferred Hotel Group. She is known for her experience with privately owned hotels.
“Montana is really one of the last states to be discovered from a group standpoint,” said Crugnale. "This is a new frontier in the group marketplace, which is very fun to sell, because when you’ve never sold them anything like Paws Up, you’ve got a very captive audience."
Crugnale said she intends to focus on getting groups to the resort during the fall and spring. “It’s a beautiful match with Paws Up to fill those months that are so lovely in Montana. The groups can have their own special time frame in those times of the year.”
The Resort at Paws Up combines luxury with adventure on 37,000 acres of Montana wilderness. The Resort offers accommodations for a maximum of 225 guests in 36 tented accommodations and 28 vacation homes. Paws Up is located in the heart of the Blackfoot River Valley in western Montana, 35 miles from Missoula International Airport. Travelers can access Missoula via direct flights from Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Seattle.
