Rocco Forte Hotels Launches Irene Forte Spas

Rocco Forte Hotels has announced the launch of Irene Forte Spas. Villa Igiea, the Rocco Forte hotel in Palermo, Verdura Resort in Sicily, Masseria Torre Maizza in Puglia, and Hotel de la Ville in Rome will launch the new spa concept. Physical, emotional and spiritual health is addressed in Italian settings where Irene Forte Skincare products and advanced technologies are used by practitioners to restore body and soul.

The spas are working with the Sustainable Spa Association and have partnered with First Mile to recycle all professional products, while the B-Corp-certified company WAMI to supply water. Irene Forte Spas work with local artisans and retail sustainable Italian brands, such as Back Label and Danié Made in Sicily. Additionally, the spas only use recycled paper to print; they are also focused on eradicating single-use plastic, minimizing their carbon footprint, and working to become water equal.

Each experience fuses nature and science, while also highlighting the Italian heritage of Irene Forte Spas. Locally made Burgio Bells are rung at the beginning and end of every treatment, and handmade Sicilian ceramics are used in the treatments for inhalation bowls, foot bowls and to display products. The floral scent of orange blossom fills the air, complementing the Sicilian botanicals from Verdura’s Organic Farm that enrich the Irene Forte Skincare products. Irene Forte Skincare’s proprietary range has achieved outstanding results in clinical and user trials with natural ingredients in formulations shaped by 35 years of skincare research and development. The products are also clinically approved for sensitive skin and certified vegan.

Facials range from the “Etna Age-Defying Facial,” which integrates hot and cold volcanic stones from Mount Etna with a triple facial massage technique to rebalance, revitalize and defy aging; and the signature “Forte Facial Massage,” which includes pressure point and a deep tissue face work out to enhance natural collagen production. Technology-based treatments include the “Rigenerante Zemits Facial,” which lifts and plumps the skin through the use of oxygen, microcurrent and LED. Irene Forte Spas also offers Endosphères, a non-invasive treatment for body contouring, muscle toning, lymphatic drainage, cellulite reduction and pain relief.

Irene Forte Spas has partnered with The Amethyst Trust, a Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care (SATCC), to provide therapies for those living with and recovering from cancer. Services ranging from nail care to hairdressing are also available and offered in a range of packages from special day spas to weekend express or week-long detox programs.
